Everything You & Your Visitors Need to Know About Skydive Dubai

Skydiving in Dubai is an absolute must on everyone’s bucket list. Soar to 13,000 feet and launch yourself into the 60-second free-fall before popping the parachute over Palm Jumeirah with Skydive Dubai. Here’s everything you need to know about planning the ultimate air adventure…

Skydive Dubai Drop Zones

There are two drop zones that you can choose between for your skydive. One drop zone is The Palm Drop Zone and the other is The Desert Drop Zone. With the city skyline staring back at you and the manmade islands below, The Palm drop zone a dream location for ticking that first skydive off your bucket list. The desert campus is designed for the more experienced skydivers and those who want to train for skydive certifications.

Skydive Dubai Bookings

We recommend booking three months ahead if you feel that you’re destined to jump on a particular day at a particular time! There is a daily skydiving waiting list at the drop zones that is put together on a first come, first served basis. However, during the peak cooler months, you’ll be very lucky if you manage to get a slot! Don’t risk it.

Skydive Dubai Prices

Paying AED 1,999 to jump from a plane might seem pretty ridiculous to some; however, this is massive tick on your Dubai bucket list and we think it’s worth it when compared with other skydive locations around the world. Looking to gain your skydive certification? AFF (accelerated free fall courses) start from AED 10,000.

Skydive Dubai Videos and Photos

The video and the photos of your skydive are included in the price. A camera man jumps ahead of you to snap shots and film the experience; it’s an awesome momento. Personally, we think the quality of the video and photos is fantastic and you will receive everything on a USB. With the awesome weather and the Palm Island below you, some of the pictures will look too good to be true! This is one video you’ll look back on, time and time again.

Other awesome things to know…

  • There are walkways by the landing spot, so that family and friends can watch you. You’ll have to sign a waiver before you start – standard procedure, so don’t panic – and make sure you have a valid form of I.D.
  • Ditch the office and become a professional skydiver by enrolling on instructional rating courses then get your Sigma Tandem rating.
  • You can also book the Skyhub Gyrocopter through Skydive Dubai. Skyhub by Skydive Dubai boasts a fleet of two-seater flying machines that’ll put you in the pilot’s seat.
