9 Awesome Places to Watch the Sunsets in UAE this Winter

With the sky turning 50 shades of pink, purple, orange, yellow and blue – there’s no doubt that the sunrises and sunsets in the UAE are pure magic this winter. Luckily for us, we’ve still got a few more months of this weather left! Ready to make the most of it? From beaches to mountain tops, here are 9 awesome places in the UAE to watch the incredible sunrises and sunsets…

1. Jebel Jais Mountain, Ras Al Khaimah

What could be better than watching the skies turn pink from the tallest mountain in the UAE? The sunrises and sunsets at Jebel Jais mountain are always magical – definitely one of our favourite sunset-watching spots in the country.

2. The Pointe, Dubai

This brand new waterfront area at the Palm Jumeirah is not only an awesome place to hang out, but it’s also a great place to watch the Dubai sunsets. With an insane view of the Atlantis Hotel, you don’t want to miss golden hour at The Pointe.

3. Al Jadaf, Dubai

If you’re looking to watch the sunset in Dubai with insane views of the Dubai skyline – this is where to go! This hidden gem in Jadaf is one of the best viewing points in the city, and it doesn’t usually get too crowded. Here’s an awesome shot captured by our Videographer during a video shoot!

4. Jebel Hafeet Mountain, Al Ain

It’s not as popular as Jebel Jais, but watching the sunrise or sunset atop Jebel Hafeet mountain is equally as breathtaking!

5. Bluewaters Island, Dubai

If you haven’t visited the new Bluewaters Island in Dubai yet, you’re missing out! The sunsets from this island are gorgeous, especially with the Ain Dubai in the background. Just walk across to the island from JBR beach and enjoy the views.

6. Kite Beach, Dubai

Fancy watching the sun set behind the Burj Al Arab? If so, make your way to Kite Beach at golden hour. You can watch the sun go down from anywhere on Kite Beach, but try getting closer to the Burj Al Arab side for the best views.

7. Snoopy Island, Fujairah

We love this shot of the sunrise in Fujairah! You may have to get out of bed a littler earlier than usual to enjoy the sunrise – but it’s definitely worth it! Not a morning person? Don’t worry, the sunsets from Snoopy Island are equally as stunning.

8. Dubai Festival City Mall, Dubai

Whether you’re hanging out at Festival Bay or you’re dining at one of the fountain-facing restaurants at Dubai Festival City Mall – this shopping mall has one of the best sunset spots in Dubai! Want to watch the sun set behind the Dubai skyline? Walk around towards the helipad (on the left side of Festival Bay) for an even better view.

9. Dubai Creek, Dubai

Another great spot to watch the sunsets is Old Dubai! Make your way to Dubai Creek and hop on to an abra at golden hour to watch the sky turn 50 shades of orange. Hands-down one of the best places to watch the sunset in Dubai!
