The Review

  • The Good

Much like its sister restaurant, Carnival by Tresind isn't your ordinary curry house. Enter through its colourful doors and you’ll be welcomed by a throng of bubbles that are meant to enhance the sensory experience of your meal. With decor & food that does justice to its name, you're in for a whirlwind of colours, flavours and foodie adventures that will take you on a culinary journey of India's favourite street food.

Whether you opt for the food-coma-inducing 15-course meal, or are just dropping by for a quick business lunch, expect hospitable service, theatrical drinks & finger-licking food that will dazzle your taste buds & keep you coming back for more.

Celebrating a special event, we got in touch with the Carnival by Tresind team, who we can happily say were really helpful and accommodating - taking our every request into mind. We opted for the 15-course menu, and the entire experience - the food, the service and the theatre of the presentation left our group wowed. If you're looking to impress or celebrate an important occasion, we'd highly this modern Indian eatery, which truly ticks all the boxes.

If you're looking for drinks with a punch, don't miss the crafted cocktails that have just as much personality as the food menu. The mixologist is famed for making fantastic drink combinations for guests on the spot.

  • The Bad
If you're a lover of classical Indian food, you may be put off by Carnival by Tresind's over-the-top presentations and deconstructed dishes, that may have the essence of the classics, but not the same traditional textures or appearance.

While children might love the playfulness of the food, we're not sure how much they'd enjoy the zingy flavours and spice levels of the dishes.
  • The Tips
If you're celebrating a birthday or special occasion, the Indian restaurant offers a private dining space for parties of up to twenty. They offer 8-course and 15-course menu's that can be made totally vegetarian on request.

Valet parking is available at the entrance of Burj Daman, and tickets can be validated at the restaurant. Cocktail lovers, don't miss Carnival's 'mystery tea' that looks like a cuppa but is actually a floral mix of elderflower and vodka. The gajak dessert is a show-stopper and perfect for those celebrating a birthday.
