The Review

  • The Good

Notching up another Guinness World Record for Dubai, Dubai Miracle Garden is the biggest floral garden of its kind in the world and home to over 45 million flowers.

Moving away from the typical park concept, it offers walkways and features unlike any other. Think vibrant pyramids, heart-shaped archways and unexpected sculptures made from flowers; this is an extravagant outdoor destination bursting with colour.

Stepping into Dubai Miracle Garden is like stepping into a scene from Alice in Wonderland. Mushroom Village, Flower Boats and a Happy Birthday Zone are just some of the weirdly wonderful creations; we were snap happy with our cameras from the moment we arrived. The 18-metre recreation of Burj Khalifa was particularly impressive, and we loved the canopé of colour above us in the Umbrella Pathway.

  • The Bad
If, like us, you don't like to abide by the rule 'look but don't touch?, you won't appreciate having a whistle blown at you when you get a little too close to the flowers. With that said, it's not the best place to take young children as Miracle Garden doesn't offer the same freedom as other parks. The park is closed between May and November.
  • The Tips
Seating areas are restricted to benches around the perimeter of the garden and a seating area by the café. Staff don't have knowledge of the flowers, but you'll find information and explanations beside the displays. Parking is free and there's a valet option, too. Dubai miracle garden timings are 9am to 9pm.
