You might already be familiar with the Italian phrase la dolce vita – or the sweet life… but we think it’s time you experienced la matta vita, better known as the crazy life! MATTO restaurant is bringing back one of its most popular events, #laMATTAvita, and it looks like a blast (from the past!)
Escape to old Italy
MATTO is hosting La Matta Vita on Wednesday night, and they’re giving guests the ultimate taste of old Italy. Here’s your chance to dine and dance to classic hits from the ’60s while enjoying awesome Italian food, vintage vibes and plenty of vino to go around.
To add to the festive atmosphere, there will be a live singer belting out nostalgic Italian tunes, a DJ on the decks, and vintage props for taking quirky photos (don’t miss the red convertible cut-out – it’s hilarious!)

Haven’t experienced MATTO yet? This might be the perfect night to soak up the authentic Italian ambience. The menu features everything from pizza and salads to flat bread, pasta, meat and fish (not to mention some of the best burrata in the city.) Dessert lover? Don’t leave without trying their famous MATTO Rock (you’ll need a hammer to crack this chocolate sphere open!)
