Where To Find The Best Baos in Dubai

If you don’t know what a bao is by now, where have you been for the past year?! This oh-so-tasty Asian creation is basically a steamed bun filled with a mix of various toppings. From breakfast baos at Tom and Serg to softshell crab baos at new hotspot BB Social Dining, here are some of our favourite Dubai restaurants that serve the best baos in Dubai!

1. BB Social Dining

This restaurant has a entire page of their menu dedicated to baos. From foie gras and lobster baos to crispy chicken and chestnut baos, there’s a bao for everyone – including vegans! So.. are they any good? Bursting with flavour in each bite, the baos at BB Social are incredible! Definitely on the top of our list.

2. Bao Wow

Every tried Bao Wow’s baos? You may have spotted them at Last Exit, or at their new branch in City Walk. This restaurant specializes in steamed buns and serve up a variety of options including chilli beef, BBQ lamb, prawn tempura, tofu and peking duck baos! Yummm! Can’t make it to either location? Just order it on Deliveroo!

3. Tom and Serg

Tom and Serg does not have a variety of baos on its menu, in fact, they only have one – the Breaky Bao. However, their Breaky Bao is sooo good that it definitely deserves a mention. Filled with beef brisket, bacon chilli jam, organic fried eggs and topped with fried peanuts, this bao is #breakfastgoals.

4. Hooked on Bao

The Hooked on Bao has been popping up at events all around town, serving up some of the tastiest baos in Dubai! From fried shredded tofu baos to Korean beef style short ribs – this place will have you hooked on to baos within seconds. This restaurant is only open for takeaway and delivery – and it’s on Deliveroo too!
