Update: The Dry Night in Dubai This Week Has Been Moved

On the occasion of the Islamic New Year that’s just been confirmed for Thursday, September 21, there will be a 24-hour dry period in Dubai this week.

This means that no alcohol will be served across the UAE during the dry timings. Previously, we were told that the dry night would take place from Thursday evening until Friday evening, but that’s been changed.

Government authorities have confirmed the new dry night plan: it will now take place from sunset on Wednesday, September 20 until sunset on Thursday, September 21. So that means Friday brunch is back on!
