Eid Al Adha: New Timings For Dubai Metro, Tram, Buses and Free Parking

Here’s a handy guide to all the new public transport timings during Eid Al Adha, including the Dubai Metro, Tram, public buses, Metro feeder bus stations and parking.

Dubai Metro Timings: Red Line

  • Dubai Metro Red Line Stations will operate on Thursday, 31st August from 5:30 am to 2:00 am (of the following day) and on Friday, 1 September from 10am to 2am (of the following day).
  • On Saturday 2, September, these stations will operate from 5:50am to 2am (of the following day), and on Sunday, 3 September from 5:30am to 2 am (of the following day).
  • The Express Metro Service will not be available on Saturday, 2 September.

Dubai Metro Timings: Green Line

  • The Green Line stations will operate on Thursday, 31 August from 5:50am to 2am (of the following day). On Friday, 1 September, these stations will open from 10am to 2am (of the following day), and from Saturday, 2 September to Sunday, 3 September from 5:50 am to 2am (of the following day).

Dubai Tram Timings

  • On Thursday, 31 August, the Dubai Tram will operate from 6:30am to 1am (of the following day). On Friday, 1 September, the Tram will start operation at 9am and terminate the service at 1am (of the following day). From Saturday, 2 September to Sunday, 3 September 2017, the Tram will be in operation from 6:30am to 1am (of the following day).

Public Buses

The service time of public buses during the holiday will be as follows:

  • Main Public Bus Stations such as the Gold Souq will open from 5am to midnight.
  • Al Ghubaiba Station will open from 5am to midnight.
  • In subsidiary stations, such as Satwa Station, buses will operate from 5am to 11:45pm except for Route C01, which will be operating around-the-clock.
  • Al Qusais Station will open from 5am to midnight, Al Quoz Industrial Station from 5am to 11:30pm, and Jebel Ali Station from 5am to midnight.

Metro Feeder Bus Stations

  • The Metro Feeder Bus Stations at Rashidya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa, Abu Hail and Etisalat will operate from 5am to 2:10am (after midnight).
  • The timing of all metro feeder bus service will match the timing of metro service.
  • The Inter-City bus service will operate as follows: At Main Bus Stations, such as Al Ghubaiba, the service will be running 24/7 to Sharjah (Jubail Station) and from 4:30am to midnight to Abu Dhabi. At subsidiary stations, such as the Union Square, the service will be running from 4:30am to 1:25am (of the following day).
  • The service timing will be from 6:15am to 1:30 am (of the following day) at Al Sabkha Station, and from 5:35am to 11:30pm at Deira City Centre Station.
  • Karama Station will open from 6:10am to 10:20pm and Al Ahli Club Station will offer service from 5:55am to 10:15pm.

Free Parking

  • All paid parking zones in Dubai, except multi-level Parking lots, will be free of charge from Thursday, 31 August until Sunday, 3 September. Fees will be restored on Monday, September 4.
