RTA to require new Dubai license plates for all vehicles

As of January 1, 2020, it will be mandatory for all personal vehicles to have new designed license plates, according to an announcement by the RTA. License plates on private vehicles can be changed starting July 2019, while all new car registrations from January 1, 2019 onwards will come with the newly designed license plates.
