Why it’s great: When it comes to stunning locations, The Terrace on the backside of Burj Al Arab is nothing short of breathtaking. With a swim up bar and views that don’t end, it’s a good place to splurge.

Why it’s great: One of the coolest features at Mai Bar in Anantara the Palm are the large lagoon pools. There’s even a traditional Thai boat floating around that serves drinks… which always works for us.

Why it’s great: Situated in the heart of Dubai Marina, Shades at The Address is the definition of an urban oasis. With amazing poolside that also serves shisha, this hotspot will always be a favourite.

5. Coco on 8 at Media One Hotel
Why it’s great: The revamped Coco on 8 is still as trendy as ever, hosting everything from brunch to poolside sundowners. Book ahead on the weekends as this space gets packed quick.
