- Chill Out
Nikki Beach landed in the city like a hurricane ready to take the crown for 'Dubai's best beach club', and in many ways, they've succeeded. Part of a sprawling resort located on Pearl Jumeirah, this global luxury party brand - famed for its celebrity clientele - showcases the best of Miami vibes, cosmic music sets and gourmet dining.
Secluded offshore, the venue feels like a secret enclave that's only minutes from Downtown. Beachwear and stilettos go well together poolside, as guests relax, lounge and dance in bottle-popping fashion. With its all-white décor, lavish service and VIP appeal, Fridays spent partying under the sun have become unmatchable since it arrived on the scene.
Nothing about Nikki Beach has been overlooked; from the plush VIP cabanas (showers included) to gorgeous pool, it has managed to create an ambience unlike anything else we've seen in town.
When we weren't busy splashing around with the inflatable pink flamingo or jamming to epic sax and violinist performances, we were being dazzled at the in-house restaurant Satine; its centrepiece communal table doubles up as a runway - get the picture? Nikki Beach's recently opened resort and spa is also highly impressive - with suites, luxe villas and lifestyle residence units available.
Taxi drivers notoriously find the Nikki Beach dubai location difficult; situated offshore on what feels like the city's largest construction site, you'll get to the main entrance and still wonder if you're in the right place. Shisha lover? Unfortunately, you won't be able to puff away on your favourite flavour as it isn't offered.
The beach club is one of Dubai's most buzz-worthy destinations, so unless you make a reservation for one of their coveted Friday slots, you risk being turned away at the door. Keep in mind that if you've made a booking and are running late, there's a possibility you'll forfeit your reservation; it's always best to keep in touch with staff by phone with updates.
If you've got a special occasion coming up and want to celebrate in true Nikki Beach style, the beach club has a reputation for putting on some pretty spectacular private events. From weddings to corporate dinners, it does everything from booking entertainment acts to providing custom decorations - the possibilities are endless.
Word to the wise - their busiest day is Friday with guests making reservations well in advance. If you're looking for a much more laid-back atmosphere, we suggest popping in during the week when the crowds are gone. If you get hungry but don't want to leave the water, order something from the poolside menu which features their signature sushi boat.
