As the UAE's leading French-English day care centre, Odyssey Nursery offers a fully comprehensive early childhood programme focusing on keeping children engaged and getting educated to the highest possible standard.
Located in Umm Suqeim, the campus boasts a clean, simple décor as well as full disabled access. The nursery focuses on supporting and developing multilingual children and offers pupils a safe, nurturing environment in which to learn; its child-centred curriculum revolves around a set of values by which little ones develop and grow.
We liked the fact that CCTV is accessible throughout the school; it provides parents with that extra peace of mind. Teaching Arabic, French and English to all students, there's a heavy focus on languages here, and it's all about imparting the best education on children in their formative years.
The option to extend hours is available for busy parents and the nursery is very flexible. Students from four months to four years are welcomed at the nursery.
If you opt for the extended package, it's important to be aware that all activities after 2pm will be strictly play - not educational.
After this time, it is much more of a day care centre than a learning facility. Some may argue that learning three languages at such a young age is a little overwhelming, but if you think you're nurturing a little linguistic mastermind, it's something that will serve them well in years to come.
It's worth browsing the nursery's website before visiting to get a better understanding of their curriculum and approach to teaching and day care.
There's a handy section covering news and events that is well worth keeping up to date with.
