Ever wondered what it would be like to party in one of the world’s top waterparks… after hours?! Well, you’re about to find out! Aquaventure Waterpark at Atlantis recently opened its doors to 3,500 of the city’s party animals for an epic After Dark event like never before. From buzzing DJ sets to nighttime water thrills, Aquaventure certainly knows how to throw a wet ‘n’ wild party.
Scream down water slides
If you thought water slides were fun in the day, wait until you brave your way down them at night! Shaking things up, Aquaventure set its party-goers the challenge of screaming the loudest on Leap of Faith to win prizes. Challenge accepted… We screamed our way down the vertical drop on Leap of Faith (twice!), followed by a thrilling raft adventure on the Zoomerango. Yes, we did lose our voice… but it was so worth it!
Dig deep for hidden prizes
Successful ‘screamers’ got the chance to enter the scavenger hunt on the beach to win prizes worth over AED 100,000 – one of which included an overnight stay in the Underwater Suite at Atlantis. So jealous! We dug our way through the sand on a mission to find the hidden prizes, while jammin’ to the lively beats that echoed through the waterpark.
Fuel up with mocktails and snacks
Fuelling the fun with refreshing mocktails and a tasty array of snacks, we tucked into a pre-party bite before heading to the lazy river. Pizzas, hot dogs, biryani, quesadillas and more, Aquaventure knew exactly how to satisfy everyone’s thirst and hunger.
Rave at the laser river
Forget lazy rivers – get ready for laser rivers… plus search lights, superstar DJs and a funked-up atmosphere at Aquaventure’s After Dark! This four-hour party welcomed the likes of DJ Shef Codes and Saif&Sound, with three separate DJ zones pumping tunes throughout the park.
We raved our way through the (not-so) lazy river, while making waves on the waterpark’s makeshift dance floors. From inflatable unicorns to buzzing vibes all night long, this was one water adventure we’ll never forget.
