7 Super Cool Things To Do at Dubai Creek
From funky new neighbourhoods like Al Seef Dubai to traditional souks and museums, this is definitely one of the coolest places to hang out in the city. Yep, we’re talking about Dubai Creek and here are all the fun things you can do there…
1. Visit the Museum of Illusions Dubai
If you’re ready to have your mind blown, you need to check out the Museum of Illusions at Al Seef Dubai! From upside-down rooms to trippy tunnels to mind-bending illusions, this museum is definitely worth visiting at least once.

2. Have a drink at SOL Sky Bar
With picture-perfect views of the Dubai skyline and the Dubai Frame – this is one of our favourite rooftop bars in town. We recommend heading there for a drink around sunset, the views are stunning.

3. Have fun at the Al Seef Dubai Creek Carnival
Happening every week until the end of the year, don’t miss the Al Seef Creek Festival! There will be a waterfront market, live music nights, funfair rides, carnival games, candy floss, street musicians, magicians, outdoor movie nights on Thursdays and more!

4. Check out the new foodie hotspots
Whether you fancy a cup of chai or some delicious pizza (yum!) There are plenty of new cafes and restaurants to visit in Al Seef Dubai. Some to add to your foodie hit list are Kava & Chai, Vanelli’s, Silver Beach Cafe & Kona Grill.

5. Visit all the souks
Ready to shop till you drop? The Dubai Gold souk, Spice souk and Perfume souk are all walking distance from the Dubai Creek, and an AED 1 abra ride away from Bur Dubai. So whatever it is you’re looking for, you’ll find it there.

6. Bike around Al Seef Dubai
Fancy exploring the neighbourhood on wheels? Get a bike from Zabeel House hotel and go for a ride around the Creek. There’s so much to discover, especially through the winding alleys, and the Creek views are stunning.

7. Watch this insane light show
Jameel Arts Center is launching this week, and to mark the opening there’s going to be an insane light installation at the Dubai Creek waterfront in Jaddaf! The world-famous Waterlicht light show will be coming to Dubai for the first time and it’s free to attend, but register here to reserve a spot.
