7 Non-Touristy Things To Do in New Dubai

1. Sign up for Cave Yoga at TEP Factor Dubai

TEP Factor Dubai is one of the coolest new adventure games in town, but did you know they also hold weekly ‘cave’ yoga classes? Better yet, it’s totally free! Grab your yoga mat and had there every Friday to join in.

2. Party it up at the Shades Pool Party

Shades has just launched a new pool party and it’s the best way to beat the summer heat! With a rooftop pool, insane Dubai Marina views, unicorn floaties and a live DJ to get the party started, you know this party is going to be awesome. For just AED 250, you can enjoy 5 selected drinks, and a sunbed!

3. Try a burger at Blaze Burgers

If you’re looking for one of the best burger joints in New Dubai, Blaze Burgers is definitely worth a try! This place has some delicious items on the menu, including funky sliders and one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches in town. They’ve also got awesome veggie burgers – win!

4. Play fun games at Girders 

Out of all the bars at JBR Walk, Girders is hands-down one of our favourites. More than just a sports bar, Girders also has life-sized Jenga, and a variety of drinking games like beer pong and flip cup!

5. Have a laugh at The Laughter Factory

Trusts us, you’ll be in fits of laughter after this one! The Laughter Factory brings in some of the funniest comedians from around the world, and holds regular stand-up comedy nights right here in Dubai! This month, they’ve got Sean Collins, Jackie Fabulous and Dane Baptiste performing live on stage.

6. Try Stand Up Paddle Boarding at DIMC

Stand up paddle boarding is a super fun activity, and the Dubai International Marine Club is one of the least crowded places to try it out. Sign up for a SUP session with Watercooled, and they’ll take you on a tour with awesome views of Dubai Marina! Fancy testing out your balance? Try out their SUP Fit classes instead.
