Swapping the beach resorts for boutique luxury, we took a trip down to City Walk Dubai and got our summer chic on at the trendy La Ville Hotel Dubai. A buzzing neighbourhood by day and night, City Walk is now home to a hotel favourite that really does have everything on its doorstep. With the Burj Khalifa as our backdrop from the standalone bath tub (bubble bath with Burj views, anyone?), the suites at La Ville totally blew us away. Modern, sophisticated and oh-so stylish, expect boutique elegance at its best.

Unable to resist the smell of steak, we checked out La Ville’s infamous Gastro Grill GRAZE. Checkered floors, black tufted couches and the funkiest ceiling artwork in the city, this trendy steakhouse satisfied a lot more than just our appetites. Our favourite pick from the menu: the 12-hour slow roasted Graze Ribs drenched in artisan BBQ sauce and a spicy tamarind glaze!
The mesmerising lobby
If the jaw-dropping chandelier at the hotel entrance doesn’t get you, the secret Lobby Café hidden behind the wall definitely will! The hotel’s floor-to-ceiling windows reveal a garden-like courtyard in the centre, illuminating the entire lobby with natural sunlight. Fancy a chocolate chip cookie at 3am? Head down to the 24-hour Lobby Café for late-night treats and Siphon coffee brewing sessions.
The cosmopolitan eatery
As massive foodies, a hotel without all-day dining is a definite deal-breaker when it comes to picking a staycay… and Chival, the all-day dining concept at La Ville is a true winner. Oozing sophistication with its all-white décor and wooden dining benches, expect a cosmopolitan hangout with casual vibes. Mornings are made bright and breezy with breakfast specials, and evenings are brought to life with city lights and candlelight vibes.
The scenic rooftop bar
Ready to raise the roof Dubai style? A hidden oasis on the rooftop of La Ville, head to LookUp for a poolside dip in the infinity pool. Feeling thirsty? Opt for a cheeky cocktail at the parallel rooftop bar. Expect picture-perfect views of the Burj Khalifa as well as colourful cocktails that look toooo good to drink. Candy Crush cocktail, anyone? Tranquility by day and party vibes by night, let’s just say your weekend adventures just got an upgrade.
