The Review

  • The Good

Providing children with an integrated and stimulating approach to learning, Willow Children's Nursery is build on the EYFS curriculum with the Reggio Emilia approach. Constantly keeping educational standards in line with UK-based Early Years establishments, your children are sure to get the highest level of education in their most formative years at Willow.

With two branches in Umm Suqeim and Dubai Marina, the nursery boasts impressive facilities including a library, art studio, gymnasium and grassy outdoor play area.

We have to make a special mention of Jan Webber, the owner and manager of Willow Children's Nursery. She has an extensive background in education and a genuine love for the children under her care.

The whole nursery has a familiar and reliable feel about it; which puts you immediately at ease as a parent. Quite uniquely, this nursery even accepts newborns. The parents' support group at the nursery offers regular weekly updates on all the pupils.

  • The Bad
Unfortunately, Willow doesn't offer lunch for the children. You'll have to pack a lunch everyday and fork out for the sandwiches. Early drop off is allowed at 7.30am, but you'll be charged an extra fee for this.
  • The Tips
The nursery accepts children from 45 days old to four years. For new mums who need to get back to work immediately, Willow is probably the best facility in the city. For every three babies, there is one dedicated caregiver - which is a good ratio.
