9 Fun Things To Do in Dubai with Kids This Weekend

Looking for something different to do with the family this weekend? Whether you’ve got toddlers or teens, here are 9 super fun things to do in Dubai with kids, all of which are taking place this weekend!

1. Thanksgiving Day brunch

This Friday, Legends is hosting a legendary brunch to celebrate Thanksgiving! There will be traditional Thanksgiving dishes, as well as live cooking and carving stations. Parents can sit back, relax and enjoy the live jazz music, while the little ones play around in the dedicated kids zone. More details on the FB event.

When: Friday 24th November, 12pm-3pm

Cost: AED 85 for kids (aged 7-12); AED 285 for adults (including soft drinks); AED 395 (including house drinks).

2. Interactive Kids Museum

Dubai’s first interactive kids museum is finally open, and both you and your little ones are going to love it! Way more than just another kids play area, OliOli is spread out over 8 sections, and each one is an educational, interactive and fun experience for all.

When: Thursday & Friday, 9am to 9pm, Weekdays 9am to 7pm

Cost: Free for kids under the age of 1. Half-price for kids aged 1-2. It’s AED 120 for 2 hours for children over the age of 2 and AED 150 for 3 hours. There’s a AED 40 charge for adults.

3. Christmas Cupcakes

Fancy learning how to design your own Christmas cupcakes? Sign up for this fun class with your mini artists, and pick up some new skills while sipping on hot cocoa or a pumpkin spice latte. At the end of the class, you will take home 9 adorable cupcakes, designed by you!

When: Saturday 25th November, 10am to 1.30pm

4. Movie Night

Kick off your weekend with a family movie night under the stars! Make your way to West 14th on Thursday night to catch the screening of the animated kids film Ice Age. Get there early to grab a beanbag, and enjoy the film while munching on popcorn and hotdogs.

5. Goldilocks & The Three Bears

Don’t miss the highly-acclaimed children’s ballet Goldilocks & The Three Bears at Madinat Theatre this weekend! Watch as mischievous little Goldilocks embarks on an exciting adventure, in this live 40-minute ballet performance.

When: Friday 24th November, at 11am, 3pm & 4.30pm; Saturday 25th November, at 2pm & 4pm

 6. Christmas Market

Ho ho ho! There’s only a month left till Christmas! Head to Reform Social and Grill this weekend to get into the festive spirit, and pick up some unique Christmas gifts for your friends and family. On top of all the shopping, there will also be festive face painting, magic shows and a Santa’s grotto!

When: Saturday 25th November, 12pm to 6pm

7. Beat Diabetes Walk

Get out of bed early on Friday morning, and bring the whole family along to join the annual Beat Diabetes Walk! The 3km walk kicks off at 8am, but get there even earlier to take part in the free yoga and dance classes.

When: Friday 24th November, 7am onwards

Cost: Free for kids under 8; AED 10 for kids aged 8-14; AED 20 for kids aged 14+

8. Fun & Food Fiesta

The Fun & Food Fiesta is back, but this time it’s at the Arabian Ranches Golf Club! With live music, food trucks, bouncy castles, balloon twisters, and a market full of handmade items on sale, you know it’s going to be a super fun family day out.

When: Friday 24th November, 12pm to 10pm

9. Baby Bazaar

Do your little ones need a new wardrobe? Head to Times Square this Saturday for Baby Bazaar – a pop-up market filled with great deals on pre-loved children’s items. From books and toys to clothes and strollers, they’ve got it all.

When: Saturday 25th November, 9am to 2pm
