Ninive: new Middle Eastern restaurant in Dubai

Skyline Views & Majlis Vibes: There’s a New Restaurant in Town!

Set in an urban majlis, Ninive is a brand new dining concept that fuses ancient history and Middle Eastern flavours. Taking Dubai foodies on a unique journey through the Orient, this new hotspot in Jumeirah Emirates Towers offers a fresh take on Middle Eastern cuisine.

Inspired by the history of this region, ‘Nineveh‘ was the capital of the Assyrian empire, one of the oldest and largest cities of Mesopotamia in northern Iraq. From local culinary traditions to Bedouin tent-inspired touches, this new restaurant in Dubai offers an authentic taste of Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia.

The vibe

Located in a contemporary majlis-style setting with garden-like features, Ninive is elegantly decorated with local plants and wooden touches. Dishes are served on specially-created crockery made by potters, and waitstaff are dressed in traditional Middle Eastern-style uniforms.

Perfect for a laid-back dinner date or post-work drinks, indulge in creative dishes while listening to German DJ Habibi Funk’s 60s- and 70s-inspired mixes.

The dishes

Each dish on Ninive’s menu will take you on a foodie adventure through the region’s culture, where you’ll learn about the history of the restaurant and its dishes.

The menu is composed of Iranian, Iraqi, Egyptian, Turkish, and Saudi favourites, along with a touch of French and European influences. From sautéed lamb and saffron rice-stuffed chicken to the Iraqi dish of ‘Tashreeb‘ (braised lamb cooked in spices for seven hours) and lobster tagine, Ninive really has a menu that will impress.
