If there’s one thing we’ll always wake up for on a Friday morning, it’s breakfast (especially if there’s avocado involved!) Inspired by our ‘smashing‘ breakfast earlier today, we decided to put together a roundup of our favourite places in Dubai for avocado on toast. Bravocado!
1. Panifico
Retro, hip and oh-so funky, Panifico is one of the go-to foodie hangouts for DIFC’s and Media City’s working crowd. We’re huge fans of the smashed avocado on toast from their breakfast menu (we often order it for lunch too!), topped with a poached free-range egg and a sprinkle of chili flakes.

2. Comptoir 102
Located in a cozy, little villa in Jumeirah, Comptoir 102 is the place to go for a healthy meal or wholesome breakfast. One of our favourite dishes from their breakfast menu is the Avo’ Club – sliced avocado with miso and olive oil on homemade toasted bread, topped with two organic poached eggs.

3. Circle Café
From delicious Mediterranean dishes to sweet treats, Circle Café knows exactly how to satisfy breakfast cravings. A must-try dish is their avocado on toast, a mouth-watering combo of smashed avocado and fresh chilli. Tasty!

4. Common Grounds
Common Grounds, part of the Tom & Serg family, is well known among Dubai’s flourishing hipster café scene. Hearty all-day breakfasts, freshly-baked breads, superfood salads… it’s the perfect pit stop for a quick bite to eat. We’re loving their smashed avocado with ricotta, lemon, coriander, sea salt and chilli, served on soy and linseed toast.

5. Pots, Pans & Boards
Pots, Pans & Boards offers a melting pot of British and European flavours, all served in a pot, pan or on a board. Brought to you by Michelin-starred chef, Tom Aikens, this British restaurant serves up a killer poached eggs and crushed avocado on sourdough toast.

6. Demoiselle by Galvin
Contemporary and oh-so chic, Demoiselle by Galvin oozes Parisian charm. From the floral chairs to the eye-catching ceiling, this homely two-storey bistro is a French foodie’s paradise. Be sure to order their smashed avocado served with poached eggs, crispy veal bacon and toasted Norlander rye bread – it’s incredible!

7. Parlour Boutique Dubai
A super trendy hangout for coffee and breakfast, Parlour Boutique Dubai is a modern French café and bakery that’s all about wholesome food. If we had to pick a favourite dish, it would have to be their avocado toast, topped with roasted almonds, and tomato and watermelon salsa.
