Sharjah’s waterfront is about to undergo a major transformation with plans for a 3.3-kilometre promenade along the coast.
The beach project is looking to shore up more visitors to the emirate with new world-class leisure facilities that will stretch from Sharjah Beach Road on Ajman’s border to the Sharjah Ladies Club.

Here’s what is currently planned for the area:
- Cycling/walking tracks
- Exersize zones
- Water sport facilities
- Public squares for community events
- Picnic areas
- Food trucks
- Parking spots for about 1,100 vehicles
No word yet on when the project will be completed, but the leisure destination is expected to add 200,000 square meters of public space to the emirate. We can’t wait to check it out!
