Making the Perfect Negroni Cocktail with Cocktail Kitchen Dubai

Next time you’re entertaining friends, whip up this cocktail recipe and wait for the applause. We met up with a mixology expert at Cocktail Kitchen and watched him watch him work his magic. The result? A tasty Negroni cocktail. Don’t have the time or patience to make one for yourself? No worries, here’s everything you need to know before taking a trip to Cocktail Kitchen in JLT this weeekend.

Food, drink and mixology!

Located in Armada BlueBay Hotel at JLT, the traditional yet modern European restaurant boasts a team of passionate mixologists and an ultra cool atmosphere. Choose your poison and hang on tight for the ride.

Looking for a drink served with a side of bartending secrets? At Cocktail Kitchen, they’re not shy about sharing their tricks of the trade with patrons. They’ll give you an education at their Tasting Table or help pair your beverage with one of their healthy Mediterranean-inspired dishes, for a complete sensory experience.

You’ll find cocktails galore; but more importantly, learn a thing or two about how to make them yourself. The bar and kitchen feature a Tasting Table where you can craft specialty drinks in a group setting; it also hosts events and masterclasses that sort of work like wine tasting seminars. Mix, drink and be jolly.

Food is a big component of Cocktail Kitchen Dubai, so expect a lot of focus on healthy bites and sharing dishes that jump off the plate. We especially loved the bar’s Ladies night, which offers free wine between 8-11pm on Tuesdays.

Our tips for your next visit to Cocktail Kitchen

Head down daily between 5:30pm and 8pm for Cocktail Kitchen Dubai’s Happy Hour; expect to pay as little as AED 19 for selected cocktails. Parking is free at the hotel for the first three hours. Alternatively, taxis are everywhere in JLT so catching one won’t be an issue.

Not a cocktail fan? The bar also features a quality range of artisanal beers and wines. Mixologists are more than happy to give you a brief history on each of the ales they carry so don’t be shy to ask.

The cocktail prices are up there with what you’d expect to find in a high-end joint. If we’re keeping it real, this is JLT and not DIFC, so we were a bit thrown off by the high cost. We’re not taking away from the quality, but its prices don’t match its low-key address.
