Dubai Zoo is Closing Down… and Entry is FREE on the Final Day!

October 26, 2017

It’s the end of an era as Dubai Zoo gets ready to close shop after 50 years. To celebrate, they’re inviting the public to come and explore the wildlife facility one last time… at no charge.

Curtain closes on Dubai Zoo

Dubai Zoo will be hosting visitors for a ceremony on November 5, its FINAL day of operations.

The historic family attraction will be shutting up shop to prepare for the launch of Dubai Safari park, a massive new space set to open in a matter of weeks.

While most of the animals from Dubai Zoo have already been re-homed in the new safari park, it’s your last chance to stroll through the grounds and say farewell to one of the Jumeirah’s most famous landmarks.

Something big is coming…

The new Dubai Safari park is scheduled to open ahead of National Day – and it looks epic.

The park will be separated into multiple sections that will include an African Village and Asian Village complete with authentic features and native animal species. Guests will also be able to access the Open Safari Village and dedicated children’s park, as well.

With over a 3,500 animals expected to call the park home – including lions, giraffes, elephants and monkeys – it’s shaping to be one epic nature adventure.
