10 Family Activities in Dubai Happening This Weekend

Looking to spend some quality time with the family this weekend? Luckily for you, there are soooo many fun family activities in Dubai! From circus school to movie nights to early Xmas celebrations, here are all the best family activities happening this weekend…

1. Circus on the river

Out of all the fun things to do in Dubai, you won’t want to miss this. Acrobats, rope walkers and a ringmaster – you guessed it, the circus has arrived! While you’re there, don’t miss the insane magic tricks, contortionist acts and a stilt-walking workshop, which is open to all.

2. Movie under the stars

This Thursday, West 14 Steakhouse will be screening the classic kids film Toy Story 3! Head to the Palm with your little ones and watch as Woody and Buzz try to save the beloved toys from being thrown out in to the real world for good.

3. The Backyard

A lesser known mall, another whole lot of fun family activities! Come on down to City Centre Me’aisem for a super fun family day out. This Thursday it’s Theatrical Thursday, so the little ones can watch the best animated films at the movie corner or catch a puppet and marionette show.

4. Fun & Food Fiesta

Are you ready for a fun-packed Friday, filled with, live music, drinks and delicious food? Better yet, there will be loads of entertainment for the little ones, including mascots, balloon benders, bouncy castles, a play area for toddlers, face painting, arts & crafts area, and more!

5. X-mas tree lighting

With only a month left to Christmas, ACE welcomes everyone this Friday for some festive family fun. From raffle prizes to the tree lighting ceremony to a pop-up cinema, there’s something for everyone.

6. My kid’s a superhero

In this 45-minute interactive play, the kids in the audience will be able to suggest fictional superhero characters based on their favourite animals, who will then go on to save the world! Open to kids 4 and above.

 7. Fitness Finale

To end the 30-day Dubai Fitness Challenge, Dubai Festival City is hosting a huge Closing Ceremony this weekend. Don’t miss out, there will be activities and classes for all ages, competitions, a prize ceremony and a massive fireworks display. Read all about it here.

8. Sunrise Market

9. Kids’ Fun Fair

Your little ones are going to LOVE this one! Head to Dragon Mart 2 this weekend as they kick off their 10-day fun fair! There will be loads of games (Basketball Hoop Shot, Ring Toss, etc.), a Circus school for both kids and adults, hula hooping, juggling and more!

10. Global Grad Show
