Where To Watch the New Year’s Eve Fireworks in Dubai

Ready to celebrate the New Year with a bang? You better be, because there are sooo many firework shows in Dubai to kick off 2019! From the famous Burj Khalifa fireworks to 7 consecutive firework shows at Global Village, here are 5 spots to watch the fireworks in Dubai this New Year’s Eve…

1. Global Village Dubai

Global Village is all set to bring in the new year with not one, not two, but 7 firework shows – each one representing the special day in a different country! The fireworks kick off at 8pm, in line with New Year’s Eve in China, followed by 9pm (Thailand), 10pm (Bangladesh), 10.30pm (India), 11pm (Pakistan), midnight (UAE) and the last show at 1am (Russia).

2. Burj Khalifa

The spectacular Burj Khalifa fireworks are back this year, and trust us, you don’t want to miss this! Where can you watch it? There will be special viewing platforms set up across Downtown Dubai, as well as all the restaurants, bars and clubs in Dubai with a clear view of the Burj.

3. Dubai Festival City Mall

Make your way to Dubai Festival City Mall at sunset to enjoy the specially-designed New Year’s Eve IMAGINE show – with live music! In addition to this award-winning light, water and fire show, there will also be 4 hourly firework displays starting from 9pm until midnight to bring in 2019. The full show can be watched for free at Festival Bay, or from one of the waterfront-facing restaurants at Dubai Festival City Mall.

4. Burj Al Arab

Another epic firework show to watch this New Year’s Eve is the on at the iconic Burj Al Arab! Lighting up the coast of Dubai, you can watch this for free at Kite Beach, or book a table at any of the beachside restaurants nearby.

5. Atlantis the Palm

Each year, people from all over the world come to Dubai to watch the spectacular New Year’s Eve fireworks in Dubai – and this one is definitely worth watching! Whether you’re booked in to one of the NYE parties at Atlantis the Palm itself, watching the fireworks for free at The Boardwalk or The Pointe, or from other bars and clubs around the area (like Barasti), this is one of the best ways to kick off 2019!
