dubai shopping malls in dubai - Reef Mall Cropped (1)

Shopping Malls in Dubai You (Probably) Didn’t Know Existed…

Besides the usual Ibn Battuta, BurJuman, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall and all the City Centres, there are sooo many more shopping malls in Dubai to check out – including some that you might not have heard of before! Check this out..

1. Mirdif 35

Having just opened its doors last year, Mirdif 35 is shopping mall in Dubai where you can unwind, pamper yourself, try out a fitness class and treat yourself to wholesome food and craft coffee. Basically it’s more of a lifestyle center, and a very different experience from shopping at a crowded mall.

Where: 60C Street, Mirdif

2. Wasl Vita Mall

You may have driven past Wasl Vita Mall on Al Wasl Road before, but you can’t really tell it’s a shopping mall until you actually step inside. Head there to check out some trendy boutiques, satisfy your sweet tooth cravings at Molten Me, pick up everything you need at Carrefour and more.

Where: Al Wasl Road, opposite City Walk

3. Reef Mall

Located in Deira, Reef Mall is one of the biggest in the area and a great place to shop for fashion, footwear, accessories and kidswear.  It’s just around the corner from Al Ghurair Centre in Deira.

Where: Next to Salahuddin metro station, Deira

4. Arabian Center

Not a lot of people know about Arabian Center (unless they live around the area of course) but this mall actually has some pretty decent stores! Make sure to catch a movie at the Arabian Center cinema (Cinema City) while you’re there.

Where: Khawaneej Road, Al Mizhar

5. Bin Sougat Centre

The Bin Sougat Centre is right by the airport, so it’s the perfect place to stop by if you’re looking to do some last-minute shopping before travelling. You’ll find loads of souvenirs, embroidered abayas, accessories and cosmetics, and one of the best arts and crafts stores in town. Don’t forget to treat yourself to some authentic Indian food at Gazebo before you leave!

Where: Dubai Airport Road

6. Uptown Mirdif Mall

Besides being a residential community, Uptown Mirdif also has its own mall! They’ve got everything including art stores, bookshops, fashion brands, an Adidas outlet store, cafes (including the most delishhh cheese bread from Eva Kana), and a trampoline park!

Where: Uptown Mirdif

7. Ansar Gallery

Ansar Gallery may sound more like an art gallery than a shopping mall, but it’s filled with little shops to browse through – you can bag some pretty good deals there!

Where: Karama

8. Abaya Mall

Just like the name denotes, Abaya Mall is the place to go if you’re looking for abayas! They’ve got sooo many different shops to check out, each of them selling the traditional local outfit in various colours, designs and styles. But  that’s not all, you’ll also find jalabias, khandooras, jewellery, accessories and perfume.

Where: Mirdif

9. Etihad Mall

It’s not as big as the major Dubai shopping malls, but Etihad Mall does have some great stores for traditional wear, perfumes and accessories. There are also quite a few salons and spas, if you need some post-shopping pampering.
