New shows at Dubai Opera house…

From classical music concerts to a unique dance performance that will be free to the public, it’s time to start planning your visit… take your pick:

1. Chamber Orchestra of Europe

What: The Grammy award-winning Chamber Orchestra of Europe, led by renowned conductor Robin Ticciati and Christian Tetzlaff on violin, will perform two gala evenings featuring the works by Mozart and Beethoven.

When: Mozart on November 2 | Beethoven on November 3

2. Deaf Men Dancing

What: Deaf Men Dancing, a unique dance company made up of professional deaf dancers, will make their Dubai Opera debut with a special production titled ‘Embrace.’ The performance will take place at the Dubai Opera Promenade and is free to the public.

When: 6pm-7pm; November 6

3. Mandela Trilogy

What: The story of one of the world’s most iconic figures, Nelson Mandela, is brought to the stage in this epic and original musical tribute. Don’t miss Cape Town Opera’s celebration of Mandela’s life through music.

4. Ballet Russes

What: Dubai Opera is presenting two masterpieces of the Ballet Russes, by multi-award winning Artistic Director and former Bolshoi Ballet star Andris Liepa.

5. Music in the Studio

What: This new chamber-music concert series is bringing prominent artists from all over the world to Dubai Opera. Curated by pianist Amira Fouad, Music in the Studio will kick things off with violinist Tasmin Little and pianist Piers Lane.
