Your Netflix addiction is about to get sooo much worse in 2018. We’ve shortlisted 7 new Netflix series that everybody’s going to be watching this year. Check them out!

1. Altered Carbon

In the future, human minds are digitised and downloaded from body to body… which should give you an idea of what to expect from Altered Carbon. If you love Black Mirror, this new series based on the hit sci-fi novel is a must-watch.

2. Seven Seconds

This new anthology series from Netflix is a crime drama that explores the human stories behind the headlines. The series will be made up of 10 episodes centered on the death of a black teenager after he’s accidentally run over by a white police officer. Racial tensions explode after a cover-up is revealed.

3. Disenchantment

This animated series from Matt Groening (creator of The Simpsons) follows the misadventures of a hard-drinking princess. There’s so much hype around this show since its Groening’s first original series since Futurama… we can’t wait to see what characters he’s dreamed up.

4. Everything Sucks!

Remember when your clothes and your backpack were your Facebook wall? Welcome to freshman year 1996. Everything Sucks! is the 90s throwback we’ve all been waiting for. Folks, you’ll want to dust off the VCRs and Sony Walkmans for this one.

5. Green Eggs and Ham

The iconic Dr. Seuss book Green Eggs and Ham will get the Netflix treatment this year with 13 half-hour episodes. With Ellen DeGeneres on as a producer, the animated sketch comedy series will feature Sam-I-Am and his friend Guy going on a cross-country trip that would test the limits of their friendship.

6. The End of the F*ucking World

Based upon the graphic novel by Charles Forsman, this new dark comedy series follows a budding teen psychopath and a rebel hungry for adventure as they embark on a star-crossed road trip.

7. Making a Murderer, season 2

While technically not a new show, it’s safe to say that the second season of Making a Murderer will be one of the most talked about in 2018. Because the story is still unfolding in the courts, Netflix has pushed back the release several times. The new chapter will follow convicted murderer Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey as they battle for their freedom.
