Details: Azure Beach will be hosting ‘Sea-nema Nights’ by the beach every Wednesday in October, with a bunch of big-action blockbusters on showcase starting 9pm. Entry is priced at AED 50. You can also opt for a F&B package deal: non-alcoholic package costs AED 95 and includes a soft drink, popcorn and a choice of hot dog or loaded fries. 3. Urban Outdoor Cinema at Habtoor Grand Resort
Details: Urban Outdoor Cinema at Habtoor Grand Resort returns on October 20, with three movie screenings every week on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays, with films starting at 7:30pm. Get there early to reserve a good spot, but with the glowing Marina skyline as your cinematic backdrop, there’s not a bad seat in the house. The venue is also licensed, so feel free to order a glass of wine along with the cinema snacks on offer. Tickets cost AED 75 per person, available from Platinum List.

4. VOX Cinemas at Aloft City Centre Deira
Details: VOX Cinemas OUTDOOR has opened its second location at Aloft City Centre Deira… and this joint is licensed. With views overlooking the Creek from the 4th floor pool terrace (next to the shisha lounge,) the cinema features a retractable roof for movies under the stars, along with plush lounge-style seating for singles and couples. There’s also an a la carte menu of appetizers and snacks on offer, and don’t forget they’re also taking beer and cocktail orders.
