1. Museum of the Future

What’s coming: From its elegant egg-shaped design to the beauitful Arabic calligraphy that canvases its curved walls, the Museum of the Future no doubt makes an impression. Set to open in the shadow of Emirates Towers, the museum will help foster futuristic innovations and designs.

2. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi

What’s coming: Ohhhh boy is this park gonna be epic. Take a look at the blueprint of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi and you’ll quickly understand why fans are excited. With plans for Looney Tunes, DC Comics and more taking centre stage, this indoor amusement park on Yas Island will feature 29 rides, attractions and shows. The park’s first phase is expected to be complete in 2018.

3. Deira Islands Night Souk

What’s coming: You’ll soon be able to explore the Night Souk & Boardwalk at Deira Islands, featuring over 5,000 shops and restaurants. The waterfront city will add 40km, including 21km of beach, to Dubai’s coastline. It’s expected to be a major draw for bargain-hunters and traders from around the world.

4. Bluewaters Island

What’s coming: Home to the world’s largest ferris wheel Ain Dubai, Bluewaters Island is something any visitor to Marina will have seen rising over the last few years. Finally ready to open to the public in 2018, the project will be connected to The Beach via a 265-metre pedestrian bridge.

5. Guggenheim Abu Dhabi

What’s coming: Now that the Louvre Abu Dhabi has gained the spotlight of the art world, the UAE capital looks set to push full steam ahead with plans for the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi. The planned museum on Saadiyat Island has been designed by famed architect Frank Gehry. As of now, the project has no official completion date but we can’t wait to see what’s in store.
